Project Synopsis: Converting a duplex into an elegant, 5BR single family residence in Aspen’s West End without adding any square footage and/or height, TKGA added an extra story to the home by digging down three feet under the original first floor and maximized the upstairs living area by retrofitting the original flat ceiling with vaulted spaces.
