Project Synopsis: This 1830s Greek Revival townhome in Society Hill, Philadelphia contained replacement windows and limestone sills. The brick had been improperly matched and the doorway had been removed from the street facing facade. Restoration will include a new entryway, new mahogany windows and door, and salvaged King of Prussia marble stairs, sill and water table. The dormer will be restored, and a bulkhead door will be installed. The entire front elevation will be restored to its original, and historically accurate construction and proportions. |
