Project Synopsis: Keator Grove is a $23 million dollar, privately developed and funded, 52-unit for sale project. Featuring single family homes, town homes and apartments with private and on-grade parking, TKGA provided architectural design services for all the units, coordinated with numerous consultants to complete the infrastructure, reviewed and coordinated shop drawings with the modular company and provided on-going construction observation.
Exceeding the requirements for the Town of Carbondale’s rigorous Efficient Building and Energy Conservation Program and meeting Energy Star requirements, the project also received grant money from CORE (Community Office for Resource Efficiency) to install a solar hot water system in two multi-family buildings to reduce domestic hot water energy requirements. |
